WEEKEND HOUSE
Many stories have been told about "Migdal" but we were not impressed. The first time we arrived there, standing on the northern corner of the site, we realized we were wrong. Green mountains, fields turning yellow, a lake, snow up ahead. It felt like Europe in a 10 minutes drive from Tiberias.
The entrepreneur asked us to plan 14-16 units for people who can afford themselves a weekend home in one of the most beautiful places in Israel. The site did not make it easy. A long narrow strip with a very steep topography. Not east, but the view was defiantly worth the effort. We also offered another model of mini villas that can have a private garden as well as use the neighbor unit's roof, more suitable for people that are used to live on a large scaled site in the city. I don’t know if the second model we offered is what made us win the competition. But the important thing is that we won.
