WINDOWSILL
the bulldozers are heating their engines and along with them will come the dirt, the noise and the concrete. a short while after these fellas move out of the construction site, following them will be the welders. they will be the "main players" of this house,as they will be required to produce a 25 meter long "window library", made of black steel, occupying the entire first floor of the house.
inspired by the old jaffa or provance wide windowsills. those of which a candle and a book and maybe even an apple rested upon, that is exactly what this library knows how to do so very well.
Along with the eternal connection between indoor and outdoor which every window sets, this project has an extra mile.
the "window library", with its wide sills, shadders small pieces of life with the outstanding background of blue sky.
